Somehow I doubt it, it's prolly just so old, butt maybe if you pressed both buttons simultaneously they'd work as the middle button. Pretty sure I've tried that w/ a laptop once

downsize is it randomly powers off butt toggling power and quickly moving it around the mousepad keeps it going fur a bit

Cheap MS one that mentioned smth about 10 months batt. life butt in actuality is maybe 2 months. I do have some Eneloops and plan on using them butt I bought a large pack of batteries years ago and haven't had any other use fur them and don't want them to go to waste

nah, i make heavy use of it even in the file manager i use and ctrl+click doesn't seem to behave the same. same for my window manager, middle click on a title bar sends the window to the background but not so for ctrl+click

also it doesn't seem to kill tabs in firefox like middleclick does

i guess some of these can be fixed, but it's much easier to just have me my middleclick :p
